Restaurant De Roysche Stuivenberg Tongeren
De Roysche Stuivenberg is a classic in the Limburg dining scene, located in Tongeren, the oldest town in Belgium. The restaurant is known for its regional cuisine with a strong focus on Hesbaye fruit, regional game and artisanal classics such as stewed beef and asparagus in springtime. The interior is warm with wooden panelling, linen tablecloths and a classic elegance.
The main entrance is step-free via a side entrance specially designed for wheelchair users and prams. The dining room is entirely on one level with plenty of manoeuvring space. An adapted toilet with grab rails, a lowered washbasin and enough turning space is on the same floor. Staff are happy to help install the entrance ramp and accompany guests to the table.
Tongeren has a protected old centre with many cobbles, but the surroundings of the restaurant have recently been repaved and are largely level. There are adapted parking spaces in the street and at Parking Vrijthof a few minutes' roll away. Tongeren station is 20 minutes away via a completely paved route with lowered kerbs.
