The Belvedere des Six Ourthes is one of the most impressive viewpoints in the Ardennes. From the terrace you look out over the so-called Boucles de l'Ourthe: a series of spectacular bends in which the river carves itself deep between the hills of the Plateau des Tailles. On clear days you can survey an immense green landscape that stretches far into Luxembourg and Liege.

The viewpoint is housed in a tower with a welcome area and cafeteria below. Accessibility has been improved with a large paved car park including PMR spaces, a flat paved path from the car park to the viewing terrace at ground level, and adapted toilets in the cafeteria. From the terrace you have an unobstructed view over the balustrade from a wheelchair or with a rolling walker. The tower with the higher platforms is only reachable by stairs.

The site is a popular stop on driving routes through the Ardennes and lies just minutes from Houffalize and Nadrin. A visit combines well with a walk along the Ourthe or a tour through the Two Ourthes nature park.
