Achouffe is a small hamlet in the municipality of Houffalize, tucked away in a green Ardennes valley. The village became world-famous thanks to the La Chouffe brewery, with its recognisable gnomes and globally beloved beers. Around the brewery a lively tourist spot has grown up, with restaurants, a brewery shop and a visitor centre.

The valley itself is crossed by a stream alongside which a flat, levelled path has been laid out, allowing for a pleasant short walk. The path is easy to follow with a wheelchair or rolling walker in dry conditions. The brewery has an accessible entrance for the visitor centre and shop, and the nearby hospitality businesses have adapted toilets and ground-level terraces.

In the car park at the edge of the village there are reserved PMR spaces, and during peak season a temporary extension is provided. Achouffe is a popular stop on driving routes through the Ardennes and combines well with a trip to the Belvedere des Six Ourthes and the centre of Houffalize.
