Parc Chlorophylle

Parc Chlorophylle is a 9-hectare forest discovery park nestled in the heart of the Belgian Ardennes, in the province of Luxembourg. Designed as an interactive outdoor classroom, the park invites visitors to explore the wonders of the forest ecosystem through educational modules, observation points, and sensory stations spread along its pathways. It is particularly popular with families and school groups, but its peaceful woodland setting appeals to visitors of all ages.

The park is Access-i certified, reflecting a strong commitment to accessibility. Wide passageways throughout the site are designed to accommodate wheelchairs and mobility aids, and a wheelchair is available for loan on-site free of charge. The interactive educational modules are positioned at accessible heights, ensuring that everyone can engage with the content. Adapted toilet facilities and PMR parking spaces are provided near the entrance. It is important to note that the elevated footbridge section of the park is not wheelchair accessible, but the ground-level routes offer a rich and rewarding experience on their own.

Parc Chlorophylle is open from spring through autumn, with the summer months being the busiest. For a more tranquil visit, consider going in May, June, or September. The semi-paved forest paths are well maintained and suitable for robust wheelchairs, though assistance may be helpful on some sections after heavy rain. The park is easily reached from Marche-en-Famenne or La Roche-en-Ardenne and makes an excellent stop on a wider tour of the Ardennes region.
