Merelbeke Cultural Centre

The Cultural Centre of Merelbeke programmes a varied offering of theatre, music, comedy, dance, and family performances. The municipality invests firmly in a local and regional cultural offering for a broad audience. The CC often works with Ghent partners and also offers space for exhibitions by local artists.

The building is relatively recent and therefore designed with accessibility in mind. The main entrance is step-free, the hall has fixed wheelchair spaces with good sightlines, and adapted toilets are available. A lift connects the foyer with the upper hall where applicable. On request, visitors can receive assistance when entering and leaving the hall.

Disabled parking spaces are available right in front of the main entrance. Merelbeke is well reachable by public transport from Ghent-Sint-Pieters. The box office works on advance sales; when booking you can indicate that you need a wheelchair space. Companions of visitors with a European Disability Card pay no admission fee.
