The Château de Franc-Waret is a graceful castle north of Namur, surrounded by substantial French formal gardens in the style of Le Nôtre. The original 16th-century structure was extensively rebuilt in the 18th century into a classical country house. The interiors contain an important art collection including Italian paintings and Brussels tapestries.

Indoor tours are partially wheelchair accessible: the ground-floor salons and dining room are reachable via an adapted entrance, but the upper floors are not. The French gardens are largely level and have wide paved paths, so wheelchair users can complete a pleasant loop around the central pond and the clipped hedges. An accessible toilet is available at the reception.

The car park at the estate has an accessible space. Check opening hours in advance, as the estate is only open to the public on certain days and seasons.
