The Chateau de Lavaux-Sainte-Anne is an impressive medieval castle with round towers and a moat, located near Rochefort in the province of Namur. Dating from the 13th century, the castle houses three museums: a museum about rural life in the 19th century, a museum about the nature and wetlands of the Famenne region, and a hunting and nature museum. The surrounding gardens and wetlands form an important nature reserve with observation points for birdwatching enthusiasts.

Accessibility at the castle is partial. The outdoor areas, gardens and the nature trail through the wetlands are largely navigable, although the terrain can become muddy in wet weather. The ground floor of the castle housing the nature museum is accessible to wheelchair users. The upper floors, however, are only reachable by stairs. Designated accessible parking spaces are available at the entrance and adapted toilet facilities are provided in the visitor centre.

The castle is located 5 kilometres from Rochefort and is easily reached via the E411. A visit can be combined with a trip to the Caves of Han-sur-Lesse, the Domain of Chevetogne or a walk through the Famenne nature reserve. The castle regularly hosts medieval-themed events, artisan markets and seasonal activities. The cafeteria offers local products and has a pleasant terrace.
