The Château de Neufchâteau comprises the remains of the medieval fortress that towers high above the town of Neufchâteau. The castle hill offers a splendid panoramic view over the surrounding Ardennes and the town centre. Around the ruins, visitors walk through a park with information boards telling the site's rich history.

Accessibility is partial due to the historic character and the hillside setting. The main paths to the castle site are partly paved and accessible for wheelchair users with assistance, although there are some steeper sections. The ruins themselves are harder to reach due to steps and uneven ground. The viewpoint and the main information boards can be reached by most visitors.

Parking is available at the foot of the hill, with reserved spaces for people with reduced mobility. The nearby town centre has cafés and accessible toilets. A visit can be combined with a walk through Neufchâteau.
