♿ Wheelchair accessible

The Euro Space Center in Transinne, in the heart of the Belgian Ardennes, is the only space experience centre in Europe where visitors can immerse themselves in the world of space exploration. The centre offers interactive exhibitions on the universe, space exploration and the technology behind space missions. Visitors can simulate a spacewalk, launch a rocket and discover how astronauts live and work aboard the International Space Station.

The Euro Space Center is fully accessible for wheelchair users. The building is equipped with lifts and ramps that make all exhibition spaces accessible. The wide corridors and open layouts provide ample room to navigate comfortably. Adapted toilets are available on multiple levels. Not all simulation activities are suitable for wheelchair users, but the vast majority of the exhibitions can be fully experienced.

The Euro Space Center is located along the E411 between Namur and Luxembourg and has a spacious free car park with PMR spaces. The centre is an ideal destination for a day trip, especially for families with children fascinated by space. In the surrounding area you can also visit the nearby village of Redu, known as Belgium's book village.

Good to know

Reservation
Book online for school holidays — the centre can hit capacity. Not every simulator activity is suitable for wheelchair users — ask at the desk which ones are.
Busy and quiet times
Busiest during the autumn, Christmas and summer holidays. Weekdays outside school holidays are far quieter — ideal for a thorough tour of the exhibitions.
Things to note
Exhibitions fully accessible via lift and ramps. A handful of simulator attractions (centrifuge, micro-gravity) are physically not accessible to wheelchair users.
Visit tip
Free car park alongside the E411 with disabled-parking spaces. Combine with the book village of Redu, 10 minutes' drive away, for a full day out in the Ardennes.
