Europark in Tielt is a welcoming city park in the heart of the town that serves as a green lung for residents and visitors. The park lies close to the railway station and the town centre, and is therefore an ideal stop for anyone wanting to catch their breath or enjoy a relaxed walk. The combination of pond, mature trees, flower beds and an accessible play area makes it a favourite spot for families and senior visitors.

The paths in Europark are all surfaced with asphalt or solid dolomite and run around the central pond. There are no steep slopes, and the paths are wide enough for two wheelchairs side by side. On the north side of the park there is an accessible play area with a wheelchair-friendly swing, a low sandpit and colourful play equipment that can also be used by children with motor impairments. The surface around the play area is impact-absorbing rubber.

At the main entrance on Stationsstraat there is a municipal car park with two disabled spaces, and a second entrance on Felix d'Hoopstraat is also step-free. Within the park itself there are several wheelchair-friendly benches, and on the central square stands a pavilion where concerts are held in the summer. An accessible toilet is located in the sports centre across from the park, five minutes away by wheelchair.

Europark forms a lovely starting point for a wheelchair-friendly exploration of the centre of Tielt. The market square with its belfry, the Saint Peter's Church and the Gildhof cultural centre are all within walking distance. The area is mostly level and most pavements in the centre have lowered kerbs at the crossings.
