The Musée en Piconrue, the Museum of the Great Ardennes, is a surprisingly rich museum in the heart of Bastogne. It offers an in-depth look at the religious art, folk art and traditions of the Ardennes and the neighbouring Eifel region. The collection includes an impressive array of wooden saints' statues, liturgical objects, popular devotional items and contemporary artworks that engage in dialogue with the region's rich heritage. Temporary exhibitions explore specific themes from the Ardennes cultural landscape.

Accessibility at the museum is good. The building is accessible to wheelchair users and is part of the Access-i network, which certifies sites offering facilities and services to travellers with specific needs. Free parking spaces are available near the museum. Adapted toilets are provided. The museum has a cloakroom and a cafeteria where visitors can take a rest.

The Musée en Piconrue is located at Place en Piconrue in the centre of Bastogne, a town known worldwide for the Battle of the Bulge during the Second World War. The museum is easily accessible by car via the E25 and the N4. A visit combines excellently with an exploration of Bastogne and a visit to the nearby Bastogne War Museum and the Mardasson Memorial.
