The Torfbroek in Berg, managed by Natuurpunt, is one of the most valuable calcareous marshes in Flanders. The area supports a rich flora, including rare orchids such as the early marsh orchid and the large twayblade, and is a paradise for dragonflies and aquatic insects. It attracts botanists, photographers and nature lovers from all over Belgium, especially in spring when flowering is at its peak.

An adapted walking loop with a paved path and boardwalks crosses the most valuable parts of the marsh. The boardwalks are designed for wheelchair users, with sufficient width and a non-slip surface. A covered bird hide is accessible via a wheelchair-friendly ramp and offers adapted viewing openings at different heights. An adapted toilet is available in the visitor reception.

The car park at the edge of the area offers adapted parking spaces directly next to the start of the walk. Access is free. Information panels along the route, with text in contrasting colours, explain the ecology and history of the marsh. Natuurpunt regularly organises guided tours specifically accessible to visitors with reduced mobility.
