Plopsaland De Panne Wheelchair Accessible
Plopsaland De Panne is one of Belgium's most popular theme parks, located on the coast in De Panne. The park offers more than 50 attractions for all ages, from gentle rides for the youngest visitors to spectacular roller coasters for thrill-seekers. The park is built around well-known Flemish television characters such as Wickie, Maya the Bee and Piet Piraat, making it a favourite destination for families with children.
Accessibility at Plopsaland is good. The paths through the park are paved and wide, allowing wheelchair users to move comfortably around the park. Wheelchair rental is available, and adapted toilets are distributed across the site. Not all rides are suitable for wheelchair users, but the park provides clear information about which attractions are accessible. Companions of visitors with disabilities receive free admission.
Plopsaland is accessible via the E40 towards De Panne and has a large car park with PMR spaces near the entrance. The park can also be reached by the Coast Tram. Plopsaland is open from April to November and during school holidays, with varying opening hours. The nearby beach at De Panne, which offers beach wheelchairs, makes it easy to combine a visit to Plopsaland with a day at the seaside.
