♿ Wheelchair accessible

The Town Hall of Deinze is the administrative centre of the city and houses the departments for civil affairs, spatial planning, social affairs and reception services. Deinze lies along the Leie in the south-eastern East Flanders Leiestreek and has a strong tradition of painters (Emile Claus, Modest Huys). The building is centrally located, within walking distance of the main shopping streets.

The main entrance is step-free and accessible for wheelchair users. Inside, the corridors are wide and a lift connects the floors. At reception there is a lower counter height for comfortable interaction. An accessible toilet is available. For specific appointments (such as wedding ceremonies) we recommend calling in advance so that staff can ensure the accessible flow is fully arranged.

Reserved parking spaces are available in the immediate vicinity. Combine your visit with the Public Library or the City Park within walking distance.
