Brasserie As Ouhes is an institution on the Place du Marche in Liege, directly opposite the famous Perron — the symbol of the city's former liberties. The establishment has been operating for more than a century and is renowned for its typical Liege cuisine: boudin de Liege, salade liegeoise, meatballs with the famous sirop de Liege sauce, and of course chips and local beers. The classic art-nouveau interior with mirrors and wooden panelling is an attraction in itself.

For a historic building, accessibility is well thought out. The main entrance on the Place du Marche has a flush threshold and sufficiently wide doors. The spacious ground-floor dining room offers ample manoeuvring space between the tables, especially in the more generously laid-out rear section. The toilet is on the same floor and reachable without steps, but the door is slightly narrower than ideal for large wheelchairs.

The Place du Marche has recently been redeveloped and offers several adapted parking spaces on the north side. The Saint-Lambert underground car park, a five-minute walk away, also has adapted spaces with lift access. The entire square is paved and flat, and connects directly to the most accessible pedestrian zones of Liege.
