Restaurant De Rozenhoed sits on the Grote Markt of Diksmuide, at the foot of the distinctive belfry. The restaurant cherishes its West-Flemish culinary roots with dishes such as Icelandic cod, Flemish beef stew with Rodenbach and the famous Diksmuide sandwich with spiced sausage. The warm bistro atmosphere draws regulars, tourists of the frontline region and cycle-tourists.

The main entrance is at street level and step-free. The dining room is entirely on the ground floor with wide aisles. The accessible toilet is reachable without stairs and has grab rails, a wheelchair-height washbasin and enough turning room. The terrace on the Grote Markt is wheelchair-accessible in season via a flat concrete strip.

The Grote Markt has reserved parking spaces for holders of a disabled permit, although part of the square is paved with cobbles. From here you can roll to the IJzerpark via the accessible IJzerpad or visit the nearby IJzertoren museum. The area around Diksmuide lends itself particularly well to a relaxed day out along the Ganzenpoot canal.
