Pizzeria Da Giovanni is a well-known Italian restaurant close to the Groenplaats in the centre of Antwerp. The restaurant serves classic Italian dishes and wood-fired pizzas, in a cosy setting.

Accessibility based on a recent visit: the entrance is wheelchair accessible thanks to a ramp at the threshold. Once inside, however, it is not optimal: the tables stand relatively close together, making wheelchair manoeuvres more difficult, especially when busy. There is no clearly visible adapted toilet — this is a point of attention for longer stays. Despite these limitations, during our visit we noticed that several tables were occupied by guests in a wheelchair, indicating that the restaurant does indeed receive visitors with reduced mobility.

The restaurant is centrally located by the Groenplaats, a pedestrian zone. The Groenplaats disabled parking garage is a short distance away, with lifts to the square. Public transport is excellent with trams and buses on the Groenplaats. Reservations recommended, especially for larger parties or if you want to be sure of a quieter part of the restaurant.
