♿ Wheelchair accessible

The Enghien Flower Park forms a marked-off section of the vast historic castle park in the heart of Enghien. The park is known for its rich seasonal planting, with classic borders, a rose garden and an ornamental garden that has something to offer in every season. Especially in May and June, when the azaleas and rhododendrons are in full bloom, the park is a beloved outing for garden lovers from both language regions. In summer, art exhibitions and outdoor concerts are regularly held.

Accessibility is partial. The main paths in the flower park are paved or built with semi-paved dolomite and are easy to navigate in dry weather for a wheelchair or buggy. Some side paths are narrower and surfaced with gravel, making them less suitable for self-propelled wheelchairs. A partially accessible toilet is available in the visitor centre at the main entrance. A wheelchair can be borrowed from the centre against a small deposit. Benches are placed all along the route.

Admission to the flower park is paid; the wider castle park is freely accessible. The car park is right by the main entrance and has accessible spaces. Enghien is reached via the N7 from Brussels or Mons. Combine with a visit to the wider Enghien Castle Park and possibly the Enghien Water Sports Area a few kilometres away.
