Broelmuseum Kortrijk
The Broelmuseum is Kortrijk's municipal museum of fine art, housed in a historic mansion next to the iconic Broel Towers on the River Lys. The collection features works by West Flemish artists, including the Latem School, alongside temporary exhibitions of contemporary art. It is one of the city's key cultural attractions.
Because of the building's historic character, accessibility is partial. The ground-floor rooms can be reached by wheelchair users via an adapted entrance. Not all upper floors are fully accessible due to the old structure. An accessible toilet is available. Museum staff are happy to help plan a tailored visit.
The Broelmuseum is within walking distance of the Grote Markt and the centre of Kortrijk. Adapted parking spaces are available in the nearby car parks. A visit can be combined with a stroll along the Lys.
