Cycling Through the Water in the provincial domain of Bokrijk is one of the best-known cycling experiences in Flanders. Over a length of two hundred metres the cycle path cuts straight through a pond, with the water surface at shoulder height on both sides. The experience is unique: fish swim alongside you, ducks bob next to the railing and the light on the water creates a special atmosphere. The cycle path is part of node 91 and is freely accessible to everyone.

The path is fully paved with smooth concrete and laid out level. Its width of around three metres allows easy crossing, including for a handbike, duo cycle or wheelchair front-wheel attachment. The approach paths on both sides are likewise paved and feature gentle slopes. The bridge has no steps or thresholds, so the entire attraction is easily reachable for wheelchair users riding an adapted cycle or accompanied by a pusher.

Parking is available at the large Bokrijk-West car park, with reserved spaces and an adapted toilet in the welcome pavilion. The cycle path is about ten minutes' ride from the car park across paved terrain. Bokrijk railway station is also nearby, and the cycle node routes connect directly.
