♿ Wheelchair accessible

The Fietspunt at Ghent-Sint-Pieters station is the largest bicycle hire and repair centre in the city. It is run with people on their way into the regular job market, combining a trusted service with a social mission. Alongside classic city bikes, you can hire electric bikes, children's bikes, child trailers and wheelchair cycles or duo cycles by appointment.

The bike point is located in the new bicycle park beneath the station square. Access is step-free via lifts from the station square and from the platforms. The counter is partially lowered and the space between the bike racks is wide enough to move freely with a wheelchair or mobility scooter. An adapted toilet is located inside the station a few metres away. For the loan of a handbike, duo cycle or wheelchair transport cycle, they advise booking at least a few days in advance so the bike can be prepared and adjusted to the user's measurements.

The station lies at the end of several tram and bus lines with low-floor vehicles. Parking is available in the underground car park above the bike point, with reserved spaces next to the lift. Around the station square runs a fully paved and step-free cycling route that connects directly to Ghent's city path network.
