♿ Wheelchair accessible

The Hôtel de Ville of Houffalize is the administrative centre of this Ardennes town along the Ourthe. It houses the civil registry, urban planning, social services and the reception desk. Houffalize is historically known for the severe destruction it suffered during the Ardennes Offensive (1944-1945) and is now a popular tourist destination. The building is central.

The main entrance is step-free accessible for wheelchair users. Inside, the corridors are wide and a lift connects the floors. At the reception, a lower counter height is provided for comfortable contact. An adapted toilet is available. For specific appointments (such as a wedding ceremony), it is advisable to call in advance so the staff can ensure the adapted flow.

Reserved parking spaces are available in the immediate vicinity. You could combine your visit with the Bibliothèque communale or the Parc communal within walking distance.
