Parc communal Houffalize

The Parc communal of Houffalize is a green space in this Ardennes town along the Ourthe — a pleasant place for a short walk, a picnic or simply to sit quietly in the greenery. The park has trees, lawns, flower beds and benches spread across the grounds. Families and walkers from the neighbourhood enjoy using the park as a meeting place.

The main paths are paved and easily accessible for wheelchair users. Some side paths are semi-paved and can be less comfortable after rain — stick to the main route for the best experience. There are regular resting benches along the walking route and the slopes in the park are gentle.

Public parking is available in the immediate vicinity with reserved spaces. Public toilets are not necessarily present in the park itself — plan a toilet stop at a nearby café or the Hôtel de Ville during opening hours. Optionally combine with the Bibliothèque communale or use Houffalize as a base for an Ardennes stay.
