Leonidas Experience Antwerp
For more than a hundred years, Leonidas has been synonymous with accessible Belgian pralines, founded by the Greek-American chocolatier Leonidas Kestekides. The Leonidas Experience in Antwerp offers visitors an interactive introduction to the brand's history, the production process and the various praline ranges. Workshops in which you make your own pralines under guidance, and extensive tastings, are among the visitor options, making it an ideal stop for chocolate lovers.
The experience space is modern, with accessibility in mind. The entrance is flat, the various exhibition and workshop spaces are step-free and all levels are reachable by lift. The workshop tables are set at a height that is also usable from a wheelchair. An adapted toilet with ample turning space is provided.
Parking in the city centre is limited; the nearby Oudaan, Groenplaats or National Bank car parks have accessible spaces. Pre-metro and tram stops are a few minutes' walk away. The Leonidas Experience lies in Antwerp's shopping district, close to the Meir, making it easy to combine with other cultural institutions such as the MAS, Rubens House or the Grote Markt.
