S.M.A.K. - Municipal Museum of Contemporary Art
S.M.A.K. (Stedelijk Museum voor Actuele Kunst) is the leading museum of contemporary art in Flanders. Located opposite the Museum of Fine Arts in Ghent's Citadel Park, the museum presents an impressive collection spanning the international art scene from 1945 onwards. From CoBrA and pop art to conceptual art and video art, S.M.A.K. showcases a broad spectrum of art forms through its permanent collection and ambitious temporary exhibitions.
