The Stadtmuseum Eupen tells the fascinating story of the city of Eupen and the German-speaking Community of Belgium. The museum is housed in a historic building and showcases the rich history of this unique region on the border of Belgium and Germany. From the textile industry that made the city prosperous to the daily life of its inhabitants through the centuries.

Accessibility is partial. The ground floor is well reachable by wheelchair via a step-free entrance. A lift is available for the upper floors, but some smaller rooms may be harder to access due to the historic character of the building. Adapted toilets are available.

The museum is located in the centre of Eupen, near the main church and the shopping streets. Parking spaces are available in the immediate area. Eupen is reachable by train and bus from Liege and Aachen. A visit to the Stadtmuseum can be combined with the IKOB museum or a walk through the city centre.
