♿ Wheelchair accessible

Webbekomsbroek is a valuable marshland managed by Natuurpunt in the Demer valley near Diest. The reserve is one of the most accessible nature areas in Flanders thanks to a boardwalk that runs straight through the marsh. The area is important for breeding birds, migratory birds and rare plants.

The boardwalk of approximately 1 kilometre is fully wheelchair accessible, with a width of 1.5 metres and handrails. From a wheelchair-friendly bird hide you have views over the pools and reed beds. The path is flat and has no thresholds or steps. A portable toilet block is available at the car park.

Parking is available at the entrance with several accessible spaces. The reserve is free to visit. The best time to come is early spring (breeding birds) or autumn (migratory birds). The boardwalk is also suitable for pushchairs.
