Restaurant De Vlasschaard Asse
Restaurant De Vlasschaard sits in a renovated Pajottenland square farmhouse on the edge of the centre of Asse. The venue combines a rustic interior with beams and an open hearth with a contemporary Belgian kitchen that draws strongly on local ingredients from the Pajottenland: herb wines from Halle, cheeses from Asse and vegetables from the farm next door. The wine list features a striking selection of geuze, kriek and lambic.
Accessibility has been carefully developed. The main entrance in the former stable wing is barrier-free via an integrated ramp. The main dining room on the ground floor has wide aisles and the tables sit at a wheelchair-friendly height. Two tables are reserved specifically for wheelchair users on request. The adapted toilets are new builds and meet disabled-access standards. The summer terrace on the inner courtyard is reached on the level.
Disabled parking spaces lie right next to the entrance. The restaurant is five minutes' roll from Bellekouter park Asse and is an ideal lunch or dinner stop during a tour through the Pajottenland. Open from Wednesday to Sunday for lunch and on Friday and Saturday evenings for dinner. Reservations are recommended.
