Restaurant Fabriek Hasselt

Restaurant Fabriek is housed in a carefully renovated industrial building in Hasselt, a short distance from the Grote Markt and the shopping area. The cuisine is contemporary and flexible: sharing is encouraged with small dishes in the style of a modern brasserie, but classics such as grilled fish or dry-aged beef are also on the menu. The interior retains the raw industrial elements - concrete floors, steel beams - and adds warm tones and large windows.

The entrance is completely step-free and the dining room on the ground floor is spaciously laid out, with wide passage between the tables. The polished concrete floor is extremely suitable for a wheelchair or rollator. An adapted toilet with spacious turning circle, lowered washbasin, and grab rails is located next to the entrance to the hall. When booking, a table on the ground floor can be reserved; there is also a mezzanine, which is, however, only reachable by stairs.

Right next to the restaurant there is a private car park with reserved spaces. The public underground Dusartplein Car Park with lift is less than five minutes' walking distance away. From Hasselt Station the route via the Stationsstraat is step-free, well lit, and evenly paved.
